Syeda Nimra Batool spend extended time at our chair, researching technology entrepreneurs at ETH Zurich. She graduated in 2021 with a PhD from Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisbon. In her PhD research, she focused on entrepreneurial teams formation and integration. Specifically, she is interested in early-stage startups and their founding conditions.
Academic Year 2017/18
Giulia Tagliazucchi is a PhD candidate at University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). She holds a M.Sc. in International Management with honors from Dept. of Economics “Marco Biagi” - University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. During her B.Sc. in Economics and International Marketing (UniMoRe) she attended a semester of specialization in marketing at ESSCA Budapest. Her research interests deal with entrepreneurship and innovation, with a specific focus on academic entrepreneurship and spinoffs’ team composition.
Academic Year 2016/17
Sarah Boone is a PhD researcher at the University of Ghent and is co-supervised by Prof. Clarysse. In her research, Sarah focuses on social psychological aspects of entrepreneurship. Specifically, she is interested in factors that drive different entrepreneurs in pursuing their business, and how team dynamics are affected by these motivations. She is particularly interested in ventures that focus on social impact and sustainability.
Amandine Maus is a PhD student at the University of Montpellier. She pursues doctoral research on the topic of business models for business incubators.
