Summary

Laurens conducts research on accelerators and impact investment vehicles, focusing on the challenges that these new startup intermediaries face when spanning different "worlds" such as the corporate and the software development or social entrepreneurship context. Prior to joining ETH Zurich in 2020, Laurens was a PhD student at Imperial College Business School in London. He gained three years of professional experience in finance- and strategy-related consultancy projects before starting his academic journey in 2015.
