Anil Sethi is a serial entrepreneur, author and teacher. He founded his first company Flisom in 2005, as a spinoff of the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich. After raising over CHF 80 million, he exited successfully. Subsequently, he co-founded a number of other technology startups including Scrona and Instaheat. Anil has beena long-time external lecturer at the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics of the ETH Zurich. Through his courses, he has been guiding numerous student teams through successful company building and currently continued this mission as a core and scale-up coach at Innosuisse.
Ulf Claesson has for a long time delivered the class Technology Entrepreneurship as external lecturer for the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics of the ETH Zurich. For over 25 years, Ulf has created and rapidly built sustainable businesses for large corporations, industrial investors and VCs in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Ulf has a senior executive background with Hewlett-Packard and IBM, he managed spin-outs from Intuit and Ericsson, and has initiated more than a dozen merger & acquisition transactions to-date. Ulf has a multicultural and multi-lingual business background, spent most of his career in Continental Europe and the United States, but has also built businesses in Asia and emerging markets in Eastern Europe, China and India. Ulf serves on boards of directors and advises a selected number of innovative technology companies and international investors.
Mateja Kramar joined the Chair of Entrepreneurship as project lead for the ETH Aspire - a student entrepreneurship lab in which the most talented and entrepreneurial ETH students build viable business cases to respond to grand industry challenges of tomorrow. By background, Mateja is a serial entrepreneur, business developer and a mentor for startups and entrepreneurs. She has a Master degree in Marketing and has founded her first innovative company with 22, all together over 10 companies (till today). With 26 she re-invented and revived twice in 7 years a stainless steel production company with over 350 employees and so started passionately her engagements in the change and innovation management. Her broad experience within many different industries, companies and challenges guided her to become a co-builder of many different startups, and a co-driver of different companies, initiatives and associations. Mateja is passionate about helping innovative solutions and breakout ideas to be implemented and monetised. She is an expert in helping individuals and companies thrive by bringing their intention to action.
