Dr. Jana Thiel

Summary

Jana is Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at EDHEC Business School, France. She has previously worked as a senior researcher at the Chair of Entrepreneurship and is currently an external lecturer in the CAS program "Entrepreneurial Leadership in Technology Ventures."

Jana’s research is focused on how entrepreneurial leaders conceptualize and implement entrepreneurial strategies and how they mobilize and structure team production under uncertainty. Currently, she is researching, in particular, how entrepreneurs design effective experimentation programs across different venture contexts (deep-tech, corporate acceleration). In a second line of research, Jana explores the challenges around the effective design of entrepreneurial teams.
